The New Renault Zoe

Voted best electric small car of 2021 by parkers.co.uk, at first glance the new Renault Zoe is relatively unchanged from the original 2012 model. But the new Zoe has had an interior glow up. The 41kWh battery is replaced with a 52kWh pack that gives up to a third more range, (245 miles between charges), while the more powerful R135 motor cuts the 0-62 mph acceleration to less than 10 seconds. There are two options to charge; the rapid 50kw charges to 80% capacity in just over an hour, a regular 22kW public charger takes around 3 hours and 9.5 hours from a home charging point.

Inside is roomy, despite the Zoe’s super small size, with smooth surfaces, high-end materials, and a large infotainment touch screen. Motorway driving is made more comfortable with new tech, like lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring.

With a price ranging from 21,865-24,865 and virtually no running costs, The new Renault Zoe is a small car that packs a huge punch without making a dent in your wallet.
