HOW TO SAVE THE PLANET WITH A CUP OF COFFEE

We all want to do more to help save the planet. The nagging guilt that we are not doing enough. The worry over the world we are leaving to future generations. Sound familiar? It`s not that we don’t care, we just don’t feel that we have the power to make a difference. It seems like such an insurmountable task.

Simply by switching to Fairtrade coffee you are helping to ensure that farmers receive a fair price for their product resulting in financial and environmental sustainability, community development and safe working conditions. You can also minimise waste by using reusable cups in the workplace - and even make compost from those old coffee grounds!

        At Brooke Technical Maintenance we believe it’s time for the business community to come together and work harder to reduce our carbon footprint.

As a carefully selected  member of the local business community, we cordially  invite you to a fundraising event, “How to reduce your Carbon Footprint in the Workplace”.  this Friday 3rd September 2021 at the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel at 8pm.

The Event

The evening will include a three-course meal, cooked by world class chefs and feature talks by leading experts on the global climate crisis

Lucy O`Shea Is an Environmental economist focusing on waste management, recycling, and behaviour change 

David Coley Is an expert in reducing the energy use of buildings and creating the next generation of energy positive buildings.

Moritz Lehmkuhl Founder CEO of Climatepartner.com  works with businesses to help them to become carbon neutral.

All proceeds from the event will go to the recent victims of floods in Bangladesh. If you are unable to attend but would still like to donate you can do so here.
